Advance TeleSensors Signs Distribution Agreement With Helios

State-Of-The-Art Equine Facility To Install Advanced Cardio Sensor System

Advanced TeleSensors, Inc. (ATS), maker of Cardi/o® remote cardiac sensors, announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Helios Equine Rehabilitation Center, a 120-acre state-of-the-art facility located in Lincolnton, Georgia, to sell Cardi/o® VetCare sensors in the U.S. equine and veterinary markets.

The distribution agreement includes installation of a 12-stall Cardi/o® VetCare sensor system, which will remotely monitor health metrics of patients undergoing rehabilitation programs at Helios’s 18,000 square foot facility. The first of its kind system will enable continuous health monitoring and data sharing between Helios staff and off-site veterinarians via the cloud.

“We’re arming therapists with new tools,” says a Helios representative, “to elevate care with a flow of information and simplify the long process of rehab.”

The Cardi/o® VetCare platform is a wearable-less cardiac sensor system that simplifies routine caregiving with automatic readings of the patient’s cardio-pulmonary state during the rehabilitation process, offering new insights into patient response to treatments. The easy delivery of empirical data enables therapists to design or modify individual programs that produce better patient outcomes.

The Helios deal is Advanced TeleSensors’ foray into digital health care spanning multiple markets. The company’s Cardi/o® platform yields wearable-free cardiac sensor iterations from baby monitoring and general care giving, to veterinary medicine and automotive systems.
